Walking distance to christ the redeemer. One of the dining options, Carmelo Restaurante was 15 mins walk away. A bathroom with a shower. In love with 1900.
No negatives from this place.

The hotel is located near the city center and has good connections to public transport. Taxis are easy to find outside. the neighborhood is pretty interesting with markets, food, and drug stores nearby. It's not so close to the beaches, which can be either a pro or a con depending on what you're looking for. the hotel is near SDU airport, which is an advantage giving you more time to explore before leaving.
The cleaning staff has some issues, and there were some complaints about stealing money from guest's bags.

The hotel was in front of flamengo park. Property was within walking distance of a train station. Carmelo Restaurante, set within 10 minutes' walk, was the best for dining: D
Cannot find any fault.

It was really easy to get around this city, and we loved being so near to the Rio's metro. the hotel staff was very helpful and polite, and they all spoke excellent English. The value for money at this hotel is unbeatable. With reasonable prices and basic amenities, you get more than you pay for. The location is also a big plus, situated just a two-minute walk from the metro station in a safe working-class neighborhood. You can easily explore the city without any worries. The staff is attentive and helpful, always ready to answer any questions or provide recommendations. The rooms, although small, are clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a nice view from the tiny windows. Additionally, the breakfast included in the price is a great perk, especially for tea lovers like me.
All was ok.

During my xmas stay, I appreciated the proximity of this hotel to the subway and the beach, which allowed me to move easily around the city without spending a lot of money on taxis. the continental breakfast was tasty and diverse. I also enjoyed the 24-hour reception desk, which was helpful when I had an issue with my room.
My experience at this hotel was not very positive overall. The room was tiny and had a musty odor, which made it difficult to breathe at night.
